Skype Virgin
1 of the things which scared me a little the first day I joined the new company was the high technology that they use, which I'm not familiar with, not least when they told me we communicate with our overseas colleagues predominantly by Skype in order to save money...
I got my headset yesterday, and had my first Skype call today! When my boss "called", I rummaged through my drawer to look for the headset, and by the time I managed to plug it in, he'd hung up already... I called him back, and the sound quality was amazing - almost no lag (even tho he was in HK), not static, and loud & clear!
Now, who wants "on demand" legal services hotline? Skype me! :D

Be careful what you wish for !
My company is always a laggard when it comes to IT. Not because of finances but just plain kiasi. E.g. we are only switching from Win2000 to WinXP Pro this year ...
*laughter dies down*
And the Wi-Fi and DVD-playing features of our notebooks are also disabled. So we are effectively using neutered notebooks.
DR: what is the problem? My account was set up for me, but it seems quite straightforward leh.. try signing up for a new a/c and logging on again?
LCN: My old company also still using Win2000... My previous law firm even worse - they were using this antiquated email system called Novell Groupwise, which had only 1 benefit, i.e. that it was so old no one bother to hack it.. hahahaha...
Yupz~! True. I think those companies offering long distance call are going to go bust soon.. =P
I love to skype too~! Free & good quality lei. Bless the person who invented this~! =)
XMM: Yah! Blessed is he who invented Skype.. heh
